WA Defence Advocate visit

WA Defence Advocate Rear Admiral (Rtd) Raydon Gates AO CSM checked in on the Orbital UAV team at our Balcatta facility recently to get an update on our engine development and production activities.

The last time Raydon visited we had just got our first engine production line for key customer Boeing-Insitu up and running. Just two years later we have a third engine production line for Insitu starting production soon, engine development programs with Northrop Grumman and one of Singapore’s largest defence companies well underway, and a new engine development and supply agreement with Textron / Lycoming to keep us busy!

We continue to monitor Australian Defence Force UAV programs such as LAND-129 and SEA-129 and we’ve been grateful for the support of the office of Defence West and Raydon’s advocacy.

As a defence industry supplier with unique sovereign industrial capability, we’re continuing to grow our business nationally and globally, helping to shape the future of the UAV industry!
