Prime Minister visits Orbital UAV
Orbital UAV was delighted to host Prime Minister, the Hon Scott Morrison MP as he toured our Balcatta facility to learn more about our unique sovereign defence capability.
The Prime Minister was joined by Minister for Defence Industry, the Hon Melissa Price MP, Assistant Defence Minister Andrew Hastie, Senator Dean Smith and Vince Connelly MP.
Before providing media with an update on the Defence Industry Pathways Program, the Prime Minister met with members of the Orbital UAV that will be supporting the Australian Army’s LAND129 Phase 3 Program – delivering the next generation of tactical UAVs to the Australian Defence Force.
“This was an opportunity to demonstrate to the Prime Minister Orbital UAV’s sovereign capability within the aerospace and defence sector and our potential growth opportunities in the uncrewed domain,” said Todd Alder, CEO and Managing Director of Orbital UAV. “Our Australian-owned technology is proven ‘in theatre’ and has supported the continued diversification of our customer base over the past two years.”
Orbital UAV is a key supplier to Insitu Pacific, the preferred supplier for Army’s LAND129 Phase 3 Program.
